Dongdaemun Design Plaza (the DDP) is known as an extremely modern and futuristic landmark that is said to encourage "Dream, Design, And Play". Designed by Zaha Hadid, it's complete with various art installations, design labs, exhibitions and rotating markets. Exploring the grounds is free, but if you want to enter certain exhibits you'll need to pay a small admission fee. On the roof you can find a local park, and they have a fun gift shop as well.
