Traditionally, this was one of the more famous "black markets" in Seoul, however, recently it's become pretty popular for tourists and has changed a lot over the years. If you stay on the main road, you'll mostly see souvenir shops and street food stands, but the further underground and more back you go the more unique things you'll find. There's also an excellent hotteok (Korean pancake dessert) stand on the corner, just look for the line! They're technically open every day except Sundays from 9:00am to 5:30pm, but I recommend going past noon.
