Also called the Gangneung Coffee Street (강릉커피거리), Anmok Coffee Street is right across from Anmok Beach and is a popular area of over 30 beachfront cafes in Gangneung. What started in the 90's as a way to draw tourists from around the country, today you can sip on all kinds of lattes while enjoying the views of the East Sea, and in the Fall they even host Korea's Coffee Festival and have a famous coffee bread to try called "kkong bbang" (콩빵).
