Perched on a ridge above town, the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge offers some of the most breathtaking, panoramic views of mount Denali and the entire Alaska Range. Although they're typically only open in the summer, you'll feel how large and grand it is as soon as you step into the lobby with the massive 46-foot rock fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows. They have multiple restaurants and gift shops onsite, and the property is gigantic. They also have shuttles bringing people in and out of town.
