The Changdeokgung Palace has two main areas - the palaces and the Secret Garden, both which require their own entrance fee (3,000 Won and 5,000 Won). Although it was once destroyed, it's since been rebuilt and served as a secondary residence to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Now, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and about a 15 minute walk from Gyeongbokgung Palace. In the same area, you can find Changgyeonggung Palace on the Eastern side of the grounds.
