The Tunnel itself is one of 3 tunnels dug by North Korea to reach Seoul, now turned into a tourist attraction. Unfortunately there are no photos allowed inside the actual tunnel, however, if you're able to we highly recommend making the hike inside. This is a very steep hike on the way back up, and is about 300 meters long, so if you have bad knees or are claustrophobic you'll want to avoid going all the way down. You'll be required to wear a hard hat (the tunnel can be quite short in places) and will not be allowed to bring anything in with you, so you'll have to lock everything away in their free lockers before going through the security station. Once you're back up at the ground level, there's a small market & gift store where you can get some refreshments & some specialty items like DMZ soybean chocolates.
