Back Alley Rock Shop is a quirky little gem nestled in, you guessed it, a back alley of Skagway. I'll be honest, compared to other gold mining tour opportunities in Alaska this one is pretty spendy, but if you're on a cruise it might be one of the only chances you have. When we visited everything was pre-made for you, including the piles of dirt, and even though the largest piece you'll find is a tiny flake - it's still a fun activity. Watch my visit here.
