A man-made cave with mysterious crosses carved on the walls. The nazi visited it and believed it may have been a pagan temple, but later examinations discharged this hypothesis. It may have been a dwelling of the early Irish monks who are said to have inhabited Iceland before the Norse settlement, but no conclusive proof of their presence has ever been found.
