🐙 Casa Gallega: The "Hidden" Port Gem

Most tourists get stuck eating mediocre calamari on the main boardwalk, but you’re smarter than that. You’re going to walk a little further to the Aiguadolç Port, which is where the locals actually eat. Casa Gallega is tucked away in a breezy patio surrounded by trees, so you feel like you’ve stumbled into a secret garden that just happens to serve incredible Galician food.

The vibe here is relaxed, shaded, and blessedly quieter than the beachfront circus. It is the perfect place to hide from the sun and nurse a bottle of Albariño for three hours.

My Tip: Order the Pulpo a la Gallega (Galician octopus)—it is their signature dish and honestly life-changing. If you are really hungry, the seafood paella here is legit, but the octopus is the real MVP. Also, they sometimes give you a free shot of orujo (herbal liqueur) at the end. Take it. It helps.
