🦴 Tour Casa Batlló: The Dragon House

If you only pay to go inside one Gaudí house, make it this one. While Casa Milà (La Pedrera) is great, Casa Batlló is a full-blown psychedelic experience. The whole building is designed to feel like you are underwater; there are no straight lines, the tiles shift in color as you walk up, and the roof looks like the spine of a sleeping dragon.

It comes with an "augmented reality" tablet guide that is actually super cool (and not just a gimmicky add-on), showing you how the furniture used to look in the rooms.

The "Night" Hack: Don't just do the regular day tour. Book the "Magic Nights" (Nits Màgiques) ticket.

  • Why? You get to explore the house with fewer crowds, and it ends with a glass of cava and a live concert on the dragon rooftop under the stars. It is infinitely more romantic and memorable than shuffling through with the day crowds.
