The Piramidi di Terra di Longomoso, also known as the Earth Pyramids of Renon/Ritten, are a fascinating natural wonder in the Dolomites. These conical pillars, formed 25,000 years ago from moraine clay soil, they are Europe's highest and most perfectly shaped examples of their kind.
They look like something straight out of a fantasy movie. Imagine tall, thin spires of earth standing proudly over the landscape, with a rock perched on top of each one like nature’s own little hat. It’s like the earth has built its own little sculptures!
