Directions

Marché Forville is the main food market in Cannes, located just behind the harbour and a short walk from the Palais des Festivals and La Croisette. This lively covered market is one of the best places in the city to experience the flavours and atmosphere of Provençal food culture.

Every morning except Monday, stalls fill the hall with fresh seasonal produce, seafood from the Mediterranean, cheeses, olives, herbs, flowers, and local specialties. Farmers, fishmongers, and regional producers bring their goods here, making the market popular with both locals and visitors.

Many restaurants in Cannes source ingredients here, which is why the quality of the produce is often excellent. It’s also a perfect place to gather picnic supplies before heading to the beach or the old town of Le Suquet.

On Mondays, the food market gives way to a flea market, where vendors sell antiques, vintage items, and second-hand goods.

👉 Local tip: Arrive early in the morning for the best selection of fresh products, then grab a coffee at one of the small cafés around the market square and watch the morning bustle of Cannes.
