Directions

Parc Vaugrenier in Villeneuve-Loubet is one of the few places on the Côte d’Azur where you can step away from the coast and into a quieter, more natural setting without driving into the mountains.

This protected park combines Mediterranean woodland, open meadows, and a freshwater lagoon, creating a rare ecosystem along the Riviera. As you walk the shaded trails, you’ll pass through areas filled with pine trees, olive groves, and a variety of native and rare plant species.

The lagoon attracts birdlife, making this a good spot for easy wildlife observation, especially in the morning. Flat, well-maintained paths make it accessible for families, casual walks, and slow travel days, when you want something relaxing between busier sightseeing stops.

Located between Nice and Antibes, it’s an easy stop if you’re exploring the coast and want a break from beaches, traffic, and crowded promenades.

👉 Local Tip: Enter from the inland side rather than the coastal entrance. It’s usually quieter, with easier parking and more immediate access to the shaded walking trails.
