This is one of the easiest ways to experience the wild side of the Esterel without committing to a long hike. You get variety fast, views, coves, and that deep red rock contrast.

Chemin de la Pointe de l’Aiguille, inside the departmental park in Théoule-sur-Mer, follows a rugged coastline where ochre rocks meet clear Mediterranean water. The trail is short but packed with scenery, moving between pine-covered sections and open viewpoints over the sea.

Along the way, you’ll find small coves and rocky inlets where you can stop for a swim or snorkeling. The water here is typically very clear, and the contrast with the red rocks makes it one of the most photogenic parts of the coast.

It’s accessible, but still feels natural and slightly off the main tourist routes.
