This is one of the most accessible calanques that still feels wild. The setting is compact, dramatic, and instantly memorable.

Calanque de Port Pin, located between Port-Miou and En-Vau, is known for its clear turquoise water, white limestone cliffs, and Aleppo pines that give it its name. It’s one of the few calanques with natural shade, which makes it especially popular in summer.

The beach is a mix of sand and small pebbles, and the water is typically calm and refreshing. The cove is narrow and enclosed, creating a protected swimming area that feels almost hidden once you arrive.

Access is via the GR98-51 hiking trail, starting from the Presqu’île near Cassis. The walk takes around 45 minutes and is relatively manageable, though some sections are rocky and worn from heavy use.
