If Saint-Estève feels too crowded, this is the next move. It’s close, easy to reach, and just far enough to feel more relaxed without losing comfort.

Plage de Morgiret, also known as Calanque de la Courale, is located on Ratonneau island in the Frioul archipelago near Marseille. Just a short 5 to 10-minute walk from Port Frioul, it’s one of the most accessible beaches on the islands, yet often overlooked by first-time visitors.

The beach is wide for Frioul standards, made up of pebbles and small gravel, with clear water that’s great for swimming and snorkeling. Its position deep within the island gives it natural protection from eastern winds, making it a reliable option when conditions change.
