Opened in 1992 on the corner of Skoufa and Lykavittou, Filion Café picked up where the legendary Dolce left off. From the start, politicians, journalists, artists, and intellectuals made it their meeting point, and you can still sense that heritage today. The décor feels cozy and familiar, and there’s a rhythm of regulars who treat it like a second home.

Filion is known for its excellent coffee, traditional sweets, and homemade food served in a relaxed, welcoming space. It’s one of those rare cafés that works equally well for a quick espresso, a long reading session, or a lingering conversation that stretches for hours. Even though it has evolved over time, it has kept its identity as one of Kolonaki’s most trusted hangouts.

👉 Try one of their traditional desserts with your coffee. The homemade sweets have a reputation of their own and are part of why Filion has kept its loyal crowd for more than 30 years.
