The Belvédère de Seillons-Source-d’Argens offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views in this part of the Var wine country. Located above the village, the viewpoint overlooks a wide landscape of vineyards, hills, and Provençal countryside stretching toward the Bessillons mountains and Mont Aurélien.
Nearby stands a private château surrounded by elegant French-style gardens, which can be glimpsed from above the enclosure walls as you approach the viewpoint.
To reach the belvedere, start near the château and follow the traditional stone-paved calade path that leads to the Promenade de la Visto. A short walk brings you to the viewpoint, where a table d’orientation helps identify the surrounding landmarks and mountain ranges.
The panorama reveals the vineyard landscape that shapes much of inland Provence, offering a perfect perspective over the Argens valley and the rolling countryside of the Coteaux Varois wine region.
👉 Local tip: Come at sunset if possible. The warm light over the vineyards and mountains makes the view especially memorable.
