If you want a simple beach without beach clubs or crowds, this is a solid choice. It’s not polished, but that’s exactly the point.

Plage des Fosses, located a short walk from the port of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, sits in a sheltered cove with clear, calm water ideal for swimming and snorkeling. It’s one of the easiest natural beaches to reach on the peninsula, making it popular with locals who want a quick swim.

The beach itself is fairly basic, with a mix of small pebbles and sand, and very limited facilities. There are no lifeguards, and nothing to buy on-site, so you need to come prepared.

A concrete jetty extends into the sea and is often used for sunbathing or jumping into the water, especially by families.

👉 Local Tip: Stop at the port before coming here to grab drinks or snacks. There’s nothing on the beach, but everything you need is just a few minutes away.
