The Arvanitia Promenade is one of Nafplio’s most scenic walks, hugging the rocky coastline beneath Palamidi Fortress and connecting the Old Town to Arvanitia Beach. This 1‑kilometer paved path offers a relaxing escape from the bustle of Syntagma Square, with stunning views of the Argolic Gulf, dramatic cliffs, and occasional glimpses of the Bourtzi Castle in the distance.

It’s a favorite for both locals and travelers, ideal for a sunrise jog, a romantic sunset stroll, or simply enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. Along the way, you’ll find benches for resting and plenty of opportunities for photography, especially during golden hour when the sea and cliffs glow with warm light.

👉 Walk the promenade just before sunset, then continue to Arvanitia Beach for a quiet moment by the water or a quick evening swim.
