A dramatic stone arch suspended above a deep canyon, with water cutting through limestone below. It’s one of those viewpoints that feels much more impressive in person than you expect.

The Pont de Mons, located above the Siagne gorges near Mons, offers spectacular views over one of the most scenic river valleys in the area. The historic bridge spans the canyon, surrounded by steep cliffs, forested slopes, and the clear waters of the Siagne below.

A few roadside parking spots make it easy to stop, and from there, a short, slightly uneven trail leads down to the best viewpoints. The walk is brief but requires attention, especially on loose ground, so proper shoes help.

This is a great place to pause, take photos, and appreciate the scale of the gorge without committing to a longer hike. The contrast between the old stone bridge and the wild landscape makes it especially photogenic.

👉 Local Tip: Walk a bit further along the trail instead of stopping at the first viewpoint. Most visitors stay near the bridge, but the best angles of the canyon open up just a few minutes away, and you’ll often have them to yourself.
