The Vieux Port of Saint-Raphaël is the historic harbour at the heart of the town and one of the main gateways to the Estérel coast and Mediterranean dive sites.

Lined with fishing boats, yachts, cafés, and waterfront restaurants, the harbour remains a lively place where visitors can watch the daily rhythm of the Riviera. From here you can easily explore the old town, stroll along the seafront promenade, or take boat trips along the dramatic red cliffs of the Massif de l’Estérel.

The port is also known as one of the top diving centres on the Côte d’Azur. Several diving schools operate from the harbour, organizing excursions to underwater sites along the rocky coastline. These include World War II shipwrecks, reef dives, and underwater rock walls rich in Mediterranean marine life.

Whether you are interested in scuba diving, boat trips, or simply enjoying the seaside atmosphere, the Vieux Port is one of the most pleasant starting points for exploring Saint-Raphaël.

👉 Local tip: Come late afternoon when the fishing boats return. The harbour feels more authentic, and the light over the Estérel hills is beautiful.
