Wander through over a thousand red tori gates that wind up Mount Inari at Fushimi Inari Shrine, one of Kyoto’s most famous shrines and an absolute must on any Kyoto itinerary. If you’re visiting Kyoto, head here early in the morning or late afternoon to dodge the crowds. Allow at least 2 hours to walk the full route and soak up the atmosphere.
