Dai-ichi Takimotokan hotel and Onsen is one of Noboribetsu’s most iconic day use onsen's and hotels, right next to Jigokudani (Hell Valley) hot spring area. Visitors rave about the huge range of hot spring baths, from open-air pools to indoor spa zones, with dozens of different bathing options that make soaking here an event in itself.

There’s also an indoor pool, fitness centre, arcade and karaoke if you want a break from the water, plus buffet and traditional meal options that showcase both local flavours and hearty spreads that leave you happily full.

Rooms blend comfort and tradition with tatami floors, futons, yukata robes, free Wi-Fi, and tea, perfect for relaxing after a day of hot springs and exploring Noboribetsu.

For a day visit, the entrance fee is 2,250 yen, which drops to 1,700 yen after 4 PM, and everything you need, from towels to skincare, is provided.
