Get ready for one of Okinawa's most stunning coastal spots, a place we locals love for its breathtaking panoramic views and incredible underwater world. The real magic here is the world-famous Blue Cave, a snorkeler's and diver's paradise with unbelievably clear, blue water teeming with friendly fish. To reach the water, you'll take a set of stairs down the cliffside, which is an adventure in itself and well worth the effort for the spectacular marine life that awaits you.

While Cape Maeda can be visited without a guide or tour, you will want one if you are visiting Blue Cave.

The currents and tides at Cape Maeda can be very dangerous, so if you do go without a guide, make sure to be very careful and follow the signage.
