Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade is where Sapporo shopping gets dangerously easy. Stretching for seven covered blocks, and with around 200 shops and eateries, this arcade is packed with everything from souvenirs and snacks to fashion, cosmetics, arcades, and the occasional “how did I end up in here?” store.

Rain, snow, or freezing winds outside don’t matter, Tanukikoji is always walkable, always lively, and always tempting. It’s the perfect place to wander without a plan, grab street food, hunt for quirky finds, and accidentally spend way longer than intended.
