Kasamatsu Park

Kasamatsu Park in Amanohashidate, Kyoto Prefecture, offers one of Japan’s most iconic views: the "rising dragon" perspective of the Amanohashidate sandbar. To reach the park from Amanohashidate Station, take the Tankai Bus to the Amanohashidate Cable-sita stop, then walk a few minutes to the cable car or chairlift station. Alternatively, you can take the Amanohashidate Sightseeing Boat to Ichinomiya Pier and walk to the cable car station

The cable car ride from Fuchu Station to Kasamatsu Park takes about 4 minutes and offers scenic views along the way. Admission to the park is free, but the round-trip cable car fare is ¥800 for adults and ¥400 for children

At the park, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the sandbar from the observatory. A popular activity is "matanozoki," where you bend over and look at the landscape between your legs to see the sandbar in the shape of the Chinese character "一"

NOTE: You also have the similar option of Amanohashidate Viewland, which would be my preferred choice.
