Whats here?

  • A massive eucalyptus tree fitted with metal climbing pegs

  • You climb vertically up the outside of the tree

  • Open structure with mesh “cage” sides

What to expect

  • It’s high. Properly high.

  • Metal bars sticking out as your ladder

  • Mesh around you — but no solid platform underneath

  • One of those things where you’re very aware you’re off the ground

  • Toilets available at the site

There’s minimal modern safety feel to it. It’s old-school. If you slip, you’ll know about it...

Good to know

  • Not ideal if you’re scared of heights

  • Can feel vert sketchy, especially higher up (do not look down)

  • Quick stop — you won’t need hours here

  • It cost $17 per car

Is it worth it?

If you’re into climbing or unusual experiences, yeah — it’s a cool one and feels pretty unique.

If heights aren’t your thing, skip it. You won’t enjoy it.

It’s one of those stops that makes you think, “How is this still allowed?” — which honestly makes it more memorable.
