Whats here?

  • A 1.8 km long jetty stretching out over Geographe Bay

  • One of the longest timber jetties in the world

  • Great for walking, fishing, photos, and ocean views

What to expect

  • Snorkelling off the end: you can do this and see the underwater sculptures just off the jetty — you just need to ask when you buy your ticket and sign a waiver first

  • The water at the end goes to about 9 m deep

  • Man-made sculptures set up under the jetty which make for great snorkel exploration

Other options

  • Jetty Train: If you don’t want to walk the 1.8 km each way, there’s a train ride out to the end (extra cost) — ask about that when you get there

  • Fishing is also popular off various parts of the jetty

Good to know

  • Early mornings and afternoons are nicer in summer

  • There is a cafe at the end of the jetty

  • Jetty entry is $5

Is it worth it?

Yes — even just as a visit it’s one of those classic WA coastal stops that feels properly iconic.

If you like snorkelling, definitely do it — the underwater sculptures + jetty ecosystem make it more than just a long wooden boardwalk.

If you’re not into snorkelling, it’s still worth walking (or taking the train) for the views, fishing vibe and overall experience in Busselton.
