Whats here?

  • A section of Boranup Forest with huge (eucalyptus) trees

  • No formal entry gate or ticket

What to expect

  • Massive trees — proper “tiny human in big forest” feeling

  • Very natural setting

  • The viewpoint itself is non-existent there was no clear maintained pathway to it (at least when I visited.)

It’s more of a “pull over and wander” type stop than a structured attraction.

Good to know

  • Free alternative to paid tree attractions

  • No facilities

  • I imagine it can be muddy after rainfall

  • Not signposted like a major tourist site

Is it worth it?

Cool to see the scale of the trees — but it’s really not essential.

If you’re already doing Valley of the Giants or Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree, you don’t need this.

If you’re after a free forest stop instead of paying for canopy walks or climbs, then it works.

Otherwise, it’s more of a bonus stop than a highlight.
