Our first stay in Tromsø in December 2024 couldn’t have been more magical. This charming Airbnb, set in a lovingly restored 1937 wooden house, is just a short walk or bus ride from the city center—making it a fantastic base for exploring Tromsø on foot.
What makes it special:
🖼️ The terrace view is unbeatable: Tromsø Bridge, the Arctic Cathedral, the dramatic mountains of Tromsdalen, and the Arctic waters all unfold before you—especially breathtaking at sunset or blue hour.
🛋️ Inside, it’s cozy yet spacious, with a beautifully styled living room, fully equipped kitchen, and 4 bright bedrooms with windows on every side, letting in that gorgeous Arctic light.
📸 Perfect for photography lovers looking for cityscape shots—though do note that light pollution makes northern lights more difficult to spot here compared to more rural areas.
🚶♀️ The location is ideal: close to Tromsø’s cafés, museums, shops, and bus routes for further adventures like the cable car, whale tours, or Folkeparken.
💡 Tip: If you’re a group or family looking for a photogenic and walkable Tromsø experience with comfort and space, this house is a dream. Just bring a tripod for those epic golden hour shots from the terrace!
