Utsiktspunkt, also known as Tromsø Viewpoint, is a must-visit for anyone wanting to capture the essence of Arctic Norway. From the top, you’re treated to panoramic views of Tromsø city, the fjords, and surrounding mountains—perfect for photography, sightseeing, or simply soaking in the Arctic atmosphere.
We couldn’t go on our visit due to a snow storm, and it would have been dangerous to walk, so we missed the views—but it’s definitely on our list for the future.

Sherpa Stairs: For the adventurous, you can walk up all 1,203 steps. It’s more direct but moderately challenging—perfect if you’re feeling fit and want a little extra adventure.
💡 Tip: If you go in winter, dress in layers and bring sturdy shoes—it can get icy and windy at the top.
