Overview
Land to Sea takes its name from the geography of the Dingle Peninsula itself - one of the few places in Ireland where you can stand atop a hill, look all around, and see the origins of an entire restaurant menu.
From mountain lamb and grass-fed beef to locally landed fish, farmed mollusks, and vegetables from the sandy Maharees, the peninsula yields the ingredients that form the backbone of the kitchen's work.
The restaurant was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand in its maiden season and built a strong reputation for intelligent, locally rooted cooking.
What You'll See
The kitchen takes advantage of Kerry meats and wonderfully fresh fish and shellfish. The menu runs from an early bird option through à la carte to a six-course tasting menu.
Visitor Essentials
Land to Sea is open Tuesday through Friday from 5pm to 9:30pm. Check current Saturday and Sunday hours directly with the restaurant, as seasonal schedules can vary.
Booking in advance is strongly recommended, particularly during the Dingle Food Festival in October and throughout the summer months, when demand significantly outstrips availability. The early bird menu, available from 5pm to 6pm, offers good value as an entry point to the kitchen's cooking.
Tips
The restaurant is a short walk from most accommodation in Dingle, including Greenmount House. For those visiting during the Dingle Food Festival, booking months in advance is not an overstatement - the restaurant fills quickly during the festival weekend.
