Coumeenoole Beach, located near Dunquin on the Dingle Peninsula, is one of Ireland’s most breathtaking coastal spots. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and turquoise waves, it’s known for its wild beauty.

The beach offers sweeping views of the Blasket Islands and is a favorite stop along the Slea Head Drive for photographers and nature lovers alike.

This destination is perfect for travelers who enjoy stunning landscapes, peaceful walks, and coastal photography. It’s also ideal for those who appreciate Ireland’s rugged, untamed charm rather than crowded tourist beaches.

There is no admission fee, and no reservations are required. Swimming is not advised due to strong currents, but visitors can safely enjoy the views from the sand or the nearby cliffs. Parking is limited and can fill quickly in summer, so visiting early in the day or later in the evening is recommended.
