Portstewart Strand, located on Northern Ireland’s stunning Causeway Coast, is a two-mile stretch of golden sand that’s consistently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the country.

Managed by the National Trust, the strand is popular for walking, swimming, and even driving along the beach, offering panoramic views of the Donegal Hills and the Atlantic Ocean. The protected dunes are home to a variety of wildlife, and a scenic walking trail leads to the mouth of the River Bann.

This beach is ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking for a peaceful seaside escape. It’s also a favorite spot for picnics, kite flying, and leisurely strolls at sunset.

There’s a small entrance and parking fee for vehicles, which helps support conservation efforts, but pedestrians can enter for free. Restrooms, a café, and ice cream stands are available nearby, and the charming town of Portstewart with its promenade is just a short walk away.
