Kyzyl-Kala, also known as the "Red fortress," is an ancient fortress in Uzbekistan, built between the 1st and 4th centuries AD. Located near Toprak-Kala, it served as a fortified defense for the area. The fortress was restored in the 12th century and has undergone modern renovations to showcase its original appearance. It is part of the "Fifty fortresses oasis" in Uzbekistan and was last occupied by Muhammad II of Khwarazm before falling to the Mongol conquest. Today, visitors can explore the ruins and learn about the history of this fascinating site.
