Right in the heart of our beloved Belle Isle Park, you'll find this magnificent marble fountain, a true Detroit icon since 1925. While it's currently undergoing a major restoration and won't be spraying until 2027, its grand scale and intricate carvings of lions and turtles are still a sight to behold. You can easily walk right up to the plaza from nearby parking. It's a perfect photo spot and a great starting point for exploring the rest of the island's charms, from the aquarium to the beautiful riverfront views.
