From the parking lot, you have a couple of great options: a quick, half-mile hike brings you to a breathtaking overlook with panoramic views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands. If you're up for more, continue on the full 2.7-mile loop that winds you through beautiful beech-maple forests and open meadows. The trail has some hilly sections, but the scenery makes every step worthwhile.
