What it’s really like:

The Sofitel is spread out on a large property with a family section on one side and then the adults-only section on the other.

It has a grand entrance and feels lush.

They have a massive buffet in the main area with different theme nights, as well as a large nightclub upstairs. There's another beachfront restaurant and bar on the beach, just in front of the main pool.

I preferred the adults-only section, although I had a tour of the family and kids areas, and they looked great. Including kids club and nannies.

The spa is very popular; be sure to book early.
