What it’s really like:

Geckos is a great option near Sigatoka, especially if you're on a budget.

It's opposite the Shangri-La, which is more upmarket and popular for weddings and events.

The facilities are basic and clean, there's no tv reception, however, they do have DVD's available.

There are two pools and one open-air restaurant and bar.

They have an Island Night performance once a week which is fun, otherwise, it's a cheap and cheery place.

I last stayed here in September 2022.
