Accessibility & How to Get to the Trailhead:

  • By Car:
    Drive to the Nishizawa Gorge Parking Area

  • By Public Transport:
    From Yamanashi-shi Station (JR Chuo Line), take a bus bound for Nishizawa Gorge (about 1 hour). Buses run seasonally, so be sure to check the schedule beforehand.

  • Difficulty: Moderate – While most of the trail is well-maintained, there are some steep and rocky sections, especially near the waterfalls, which may require caution.

The Nishizawa Gorge hike is an exceptional trail for those who love water features and vibrant forest scenery.
