The resort makes it easy for Americans to get out and enjoy the local area with plenty of American staff to help guide you, tours, and ski instructors. They also rent bikes which I would highly recommend.

This is a great place to be on NYE and the 4th of July because the hotel puts on an impressive fireworks display and has a huge party.
