Berggasthof Kreuzalm is a cozy mountain inn located in the Bavarian Alps, offering stunning views of the Alpspitze and delicious traditional German cuisine. It's the perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking or skiing.

There is a playground here in the summer making it a great place to end a hike with kids. My preferred route is to ride the Alpsptizbahn up and then hike down to this lodge. It is manageable with kids but there are some steeper sections with loose gravel so shoes with good traction are important.

You'll certainly find cows up here in the summer, just listen for the bells!
