The Eckbauerbahn is a funicular railway located in Germany that takes visitors up to the Eckbauer mountain for stunning views of the surrounding area. It's a great way to enjoy the scenery without having to hike all the way up. Hiking up is another option, its a short but steep path.

This cable car begins to the left of the Olympic Ski Stadium. Take it to the top to enjoy sledding in the winter and hiking in the summer.

You can bring a picnic lunch up or stop by Berggasthof Eckbauer, just a 5 minute walk from the cable car station, for a meal with a view.

There are a variety of trails here as well. Plenty of options for hiking up or down. You can start at the Partnach Gorge and once you pass through the gorge continue to hike up to the top instead of turning around to go back the way you came.

Kids will enjoy the new playground at the cable car station, it's one of the best playgrounds int he area. Purchase a wooden ball at the cable car station for the ball track on the playground or with a 2 euro coin at the top.
