Directions

Ashikaga Orihime Shrine is a must-visit if you’re exploring Ashikaga Flower Park. It’s the largest Shinto shrine in Ashikaga and is especially popular for prayers for good relationships and marriage. The two deities enshrined here are known as the deities of marriage. If you climb the 229 steps to the shrine, it is said your wish will be granted.

One unique feature is the colorful torii gates lining the path. Each color represents a part of your life you want to improve: ❤️ Good people, 💛 Health, 💚 Wisdom, 💙 Good life, 💚💛 Studies, 🧡 Work, 💜 Management. You’ll also find stunning wisteria growing around the shrine, making it a perfect spot for photos.
