If you’re looking for cold drinks, killer tacos, and a no-frills, reggae-infused beach vibe, Chico Feo is the spot on Folly Beach. This funky, outdoor dive bar-meets-taco shack feels like a backyard party that never ends, with live music, fresh seafood, and a rotating menu of global flavors. No reservations, no rush, just good food, cheap beer, and island-time energy.

🌊 The Vibe

With colorful picnic tables, string lights, and a tiny open-air bar, Chico Feo is as Folly as it gets. Reggae, bluegrass, and surf rock play in the background while locals sip on cheap beers and mezcal cocktails, sandy from a day at the beach. Cash only (so come prepared), no frills, just vibes.

🍹 What to Drink

Drinks are simple, strong, and beach-friendly. They have others, but I usually just get beer here.

🌮 What to Order

🐟 Mahi Taco – Poached with garlic and wine, these are the bourgeois of fish tacos. Topped with cabbage, Trini sauce, and pico for the perfect balance of freshness and spice.
🥪 Cuban – A Normandy Farms French loaf slathered in mustard, stacked with ham, Swiss, and house-smoked pork, finished with coriander cucumber pickles.
🌯 Burro – A big ol’ donkey of a burrito. Choose your protein (beans, chicken, pork, or mahi), and it comes loaded with pico, Cuban beans, and crispy fried queso.

🎶 Service & Experience

Chico Feo is as laid-back as it gets. You order at the window, grab a drink at the bar, and find a spot at a picnic table. Service is friendly and fun, but don’t expect things to move fast—you’re on Folly time here.

📍 The Real Reason to Visit?

Chico Feo is the perfect post-beach hangout—whether you’re stopping by for a quick taco, a cold beer, or to catch some live music under the stars. It’s funky, fun, and a true Folly Beach staple.
