The train station! A few people I met on the island had taken the train from Glasgow and had brought their bicycles with them.

Mallaig Train Station is a charming little spot located in the picturesque village of Mallaig, Scotland. Nestled on the west coast, it serves as a gateway to some stunning scenery and is part of the famous West Highland Line. The station has a quaint vibe, with its traditional architecture and friendly atmosphere. Travelers often stop here to catch breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and sea. It’s not just a transit point; it’s a place where people can soak in the beauty of the Scottish Highlands before heading off on their adventures. Plus, the train ride itself is an experience, winding through some of the most scenic landscapes in the UK.
