That said, it’s worth noting that many B&Bs on the islands don’t list on Airbnb, as the platform takes a significant cut of their earnings. If you’d like to fully support local businesses, I’ve plotted some on the map, or try zooming in on Google Maps to find options in the area you’re visiting, or simply search “B&Bs on Uist” -you’ll often find charming places that aren’t listed elsewhere.
