If you don't want to drive north and want to avoid the A9, this is a great place to leave your car and get the train. I would also recommend bring your bicycle for flexibility upon arrival

Dunkeld & Birnam train station is a charming little stop located in the picturesque village of Dunkeld, Scotland. Nestled along the banks of the River Tay, it serves as a gateway for travelers looking to explore the stunning landscapes and rich history of the area. The station has a quaint vibe, with its traditional architecture and well-kept surroundings. It’s not just a transit point; it’s a place where visitors can soak in the local atmosphere. With regular services connecting to major cities like Perth and Edinburgh, it's a handy spot for both locals and tourists alike. Plus, the nearby attractions, including the famous Dunkeld Cathedral and beautiful walking trails, make it a perfect pit stop for anyone looking to enjoy the Scottish countryside.
