You absolutely need to go here!

Visiting Iona Abbey and the nearby nunnery on the Isle of Iona was a peaceful, moving experience. Walking among the ancient stone walls, I could feel the deep history. St. Columba founded the abbey in the 6th century, and the nunnery came later in the 12th. The carvings, the stillness, and the views of the sea all made it feel like a place set apart. It wasn’t just about history, it was about reflection, nature, and a quiet kind of beauty that stays with you.
